The Central Hawkes Bay (CHB) Toy Library is a Non-Profit Organization, which was founded in 1992 and then officially incorporated with the charities commission in 1993. Since the start of the Toy Library many changes occurred some of these changes were highs and some were lows. We were operating out of the back of the local Library, then in 2003 the Toy Library moved into its premises, which we are still in to this day. Over the years the CHB Toy Library has been helped and supported through our volunteers, funding from the local businesses, grants and donations of toys, money and services.
The Toy Library is run by a committee of volunteers.

Baby Harley - Checks to see if all the toys are up to standards on behalf of all tamariki in Central Hawkes Bay along with her friend on Thursdays Baby Jaxen.
Our lovely Commitee members also work in Second Chance Education at Capital Training and allow their students to gain retail/customer service experience in the toy library. So you may see a mixture of faces amongst the usuals. So come on down and feel free to meet the team.
